01Who is responsible

02What the reservation form collects

Your name and surname, email address, phone number, driving licence number and issuing country; the vehicle, pick-up and return dates and times, pick-up and return location; and, if you fill them in, a delivery address (hotel, address or flight number), a message to us and whether you need a child seat. We also store the website language you used.

When you send the form, your IP address is processed to protect the form against abuse (rate limiting and, where enabled, the Cloudflare Turnstile security check).

03Why we use it

Only to handle your booking request: checking availability, sending you the offer and updates about your request by email, contacting you about the rental and preparing the rental contract. We process the data because you asked us to take these steps before entering into a rental contract. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

04Who receives it

Our staff, and service providers that process data on our behalf: hosting (Vercel – website, Render – booking system, Supabase – database and car photos; the database is hosted in the EU, Frankfurt region), email delivery (Resend), our office mailbox (Google Gmail) and spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical data about your browser to tell people from bots).

Our hosting providers keep short-term access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

05How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a rental are deleted or anonymised 12 months after the requested return date. Data belonging to a completed rental is deleted or anonymised 24 months after the return date.

06Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it (unless we must keep it by law), and you can object to its use. Write to info@rentacarurban.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
